Classic Login - Change your sign in details

Note:

In March 2020 we enabled new users to register with an NHS login and existing users the option to migrate to an NHS Login.

This article only applies if you have an existing account registered before March 2020 and have not yet migrated to an NHS Login.

If you have provided your email address and mobile number when you set-up your account, then you will be able to change your log in details.

This can be done either when logged into the App or if you are logged out. 

 

Important: If your mobile number or any contact details are incorrect in the My record section of the App, you will need to contact your GP to get them changed.

 

Change your details while logged into the app

Follow the instructions below to change your contact details:

1. Click Settings

2. Click Change details

3. Decide whether you want to change your email address or mobile number

4. A 4 digit code is sent to the alternative contact detail

5. Enter the code and your new contact detail and click Continue

6. Click Change email address/Change phone number

7. Your contact detail has been changed.

 

Next time you sign in you can use the updated contact detail

Change your details while logged out of the app

Follow the instructions below to change your contact details:

1. Click Sign in

2. Click Update contact details

3. Choose which contact method you want to change

4. Enter the mobile number/email address you want to replace, followed by your password

5.  A 4 digit code is sent to the alternate contact method

6. Enter the code and your new contact method, then click Next

 

You will be directed back to the sign in screen, and can sign in using your new details
