How to: Reset your password, change your password or delete your NHS login

Your NHS login details are managed by the NHS login team and unfortunately, our support team will not be able to help you change those details. 

 

To reset your NHS login password, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Select the blue 'Continue with NHS login' button.

Step 2: Enter your email address and click the 'Continue' button.

Step 3: If you have entered the correct NHS login details and NHS login has found your NHS login account, select the 'Continue' button.

Step 4: Select the 'reset it' link, to reset your NHS login password.

Step 5: You will then be prompted to check you email, for a password reset email.

Check your email and click the reset password link, within the NHS login email, to reset your NHS login password.

 

To change your NHS login password or delete your NHS login account, please follow these steps:

Step 1: Sign-in to the Health App and select 'Manage your account', on the welcome screen or select the 'Settings' tab, near the top of the Health App.

Then select 'Manage NHS account', on the settings page.

Mobile Health App:
You can find 'Manage NHS account', under 'Settings', in the menu of the Health App.

Alternatively, select the link below, to sign-in to your NHS account:

https://access.login.nhs.uk/enter-email

 

Step 2: You will then be taken to the NHS login screen, where you will need to enter your NHS login email address and click the 'Continue' button.

Step 3: If you have entered the correct NHS login details and NHS login has found your NHS login account, select the 'Continue' button.

Step 4: Enter your password and select the 'Continue' button.

Step 5: A 6 digit authentication code will be sent to the phone number on your NHS login account.

Enter your authentication code and click the 'Continue' button.

Step 6: You may then see a message about missing details on your NHS record, for now, select to 'Skip and take me to Manage your NHS account'

 

Step 7: Select 'More'.

Step 8: Select 'Account and settings'.

Step 9: Then select 'Manage NHS account'.

Step 10: Click the link for 'Login and security settings'.

Step 11: You should now see the NHS login details page, where you can change your password or delete your NHS login and NHS account by selecting the link 'Delete my NHS account'.
